No one is completely satisfied with their life. At some time or another, everyone thinks that they could live differently: for instance, by setting new goals for life or discovering their potential differently. It’s never too late to “reboot,” and you can start doing it now.

1. “TURN OFF” ANY NEGATIVE INFLUENCE FROM OUTSIDE

There are often persons in our life who are unsatisfied with their life all the time. Each of us is unsatisfied from time to time for a reason. Still, there are kinds of persons who are unhappy with anything. If you see that it is impossible to help this person turn attention to joyful moments and feel thankfulness. In that case, it is worth limiting interaction with a “source” of negativity.

2. WRITE DOWN YOUR DREAMS

Sometimes we are sinking into the everyday routine so much that we tend to forget what we want and in what direction we are going. We stop dreaming, but our dreams have magic power, they inspire us and give us mental spirit. Just write down all your dreams and take a look at the list from time to time to update the list and to see if you are moving in the right direction.

3. FILL YOUR LIFE WITH POSITIVE EMOTIONS

For each of us, different activities will bring positive vibes. Some people would love to listen to music, some would need just driving a car through the empty town, some would need to dance, some meeting friends, some just feeling peace by walking in the forest or the sea. Just do what will fill you with positive emotions.

4. START PRACTICING MINDFULNESS

Most of our time we spend remembering the past or thinking about the future. Being present in the moment is very empowering. Focus your awareness on the here and now.

Mindfulness practices can help us to control emotions, decrease stress and anxiety. It can help us to focus our attention on our thoughts and feelings. You can practice mindfulness by sitting down for formal meditation practice or just “on the go” by focusing on your daily activities. While brushing teeth, taking shower, having breakfast or lunch, just stop thinking unrelated thoughts and pay attention to what are you doing. Look around yourself, notice how beautiful and interesting the things are around you. Feel the air, smells, hear the sounds around you.

5. CARE OF YOUR BODY

Your body is the temple of your soul. Do not forget to include at least 30 minutes of exercise in your daily routine. Do yoga, run, go to the gym, play any sports games, do whatever you love.  Drink enough water. Eat a healthy and balanced diet, include plenty of vegetables and some fruits.

Changes in our lives happen all the time, but to realize your potential, you need to be able to direct them in a positive direction. The main thing is to take the first step today.
